Can I bulk import contacts from a spreadsheet or CRM?
Yes. You can upload a CSV file to add multiple contacts to the Contact Manager at once. Follow the steps below to prepare your file, upload it, and confirm your import.

Prepare your CSV file
Step 1
Make sure your CSV file includes the following columns:
- Title
- First Name
- Last Name
- Secondary Email
- Country
- Passport Number
- ID Number
- Telephone Number - include the full international country code (e.g., +27 713 52 6187)

Note: Save your Excel file as a CSV (comma-delimited) file before uploading. This ensures Wetu can read your data correctly and prevents errors.
Upload your CSV file
Step 2
Go to Contact Manager and click on Import Contacts in the top right-hand corner.

Step 3
Drag and drop your CSV file into the upload area,

or click Upload to select the file manually.


Step 4
Select Next in the bottom right-hand corner to continue.
Mapping fields
Step 5
Match each column from your CSV to the corresponding field in the Contact Manager.
Check the preview on the right to confirm the data looks correct before proceeding.

If a field does not need to be imported, select Do not map this field.

Import your contacts
Step 6
Once you are satisfied with the mapping, select Import.

Step 7
The confirmation screen will show:
- Any errors that need to be addressed
If there are any failed results, check your import file and try again.

Step 8
Your imported contacts will now appear in the Contact Manager dashboard.
