How can I add free-text activities?
Add custom activities that are not in Wetu's activity list by saving them as free text in the Planner step, then geotagging them to pull in location images and descriptions.

Navigating to your Itinerary Builder

Name the activity
1. Open the itinerary and navigate to the Planner step.

2. Click on the activity search field and start typing the activity name.
3. Instead of selecting an item from the predictive list, click + SAVE AS FREE TEXT.
4. The activity name will be added to the itinerary.

Note: A free-text activity is only available for the specific entry where it was created. If you need the same activity again later in the itinerary, you will need to type it in as free text again. For activities used frequently, consider building them as components and adding those to the Planner as needed.
Add a location
1. Click the Geotag icon on the free-text activity entry.

2. A pop-up window will appear.
3. Type the activity location in the search field.
4. Select the correct location from the dropdown.
5. Click Save.

Note: Geotagging links the activity to a point in the Wetu system, assigning the location's images and descriptions to the activity entry - so it is not left as a blank entry on the itinerary output.
Note: Once added, a free-text activity can be updated with the same details as any other activity - including specific times and whether it is planned or optional.
