How can I check my internet speed if Wetu feels slow?

If Wetu feels slow when loading itineraries, images, or outputs, the first thing to check is your internet connection. This guide explains how to run a speed test and what to do with the results.

A slow or unstable connection can affect loading itineraries, Discovery and Classic outputs, uploading images and documents, saving changes, TravelKey syncing, and downloading printable itineraries.

Before running a speed test

Close large downloads or streaming services
Streaming video, cloud backups, and downloads use bandwidth and may make your connection appear slower than normal.

Disconnect your VPN if possible
VPNs route your connection through another server or country, which can increase loading times and affect performance.

Move closer to your Wi-Fi router
Weak Wi-Fi signals cause unstable speeds and slower loading times.

Restart your browser if Wetu has been open a long time
Too many open tabs or cached browser data can affect browser performance.
