How can I create traveller contacts directly from the Itinerary Builder?

Add traveller names within a Personal Itinerary and sync them directly to your Contact Manager - without leaving the Itinerary Builder.

Getting started

Step 1

Create or open a Personal Itinerary

Opening the Manage Travellers modal

Scroll to the Traveller details section at the bottom of the screen and click on Manage Travellers.

Step 3

In the Traveller details window, use the + and  icons to set the number of Adults and Children travelling.

Name fields will appear for each traveller added. 
- Start typing a traveller's name in the field provided.

The search runs when you finish typing or when you select the search icon. Wetu will display matching contacts from your Contact Manager.

  • If the traveller is in your Contact Manager, select their name from the results list.
  • If the traveller is not in your Contact Manager, their name will still appear in the list with an icon indicating they are not yet a saved contact. Select their name to add them to the itinerary.

Repeat for each traveller. Use the search icon at any point to search for a specific name within your Contact Manager.

To select all travellers at once, select Select All Travellers

Saving and syncing to the Contact Manager 

Step 8

Once all traveller names have been added, review the Save button. It will indicate how many new contacts will be created in your Contact Manager when you save. 

Leave the checkbox unticked for any travellers you do not want to create a profile for.

For example: Save and create 2 new contacts means three travellers are not yet saved in your Contact Manager and will be created on save.

Select Save to apply the changes. All travellers will be added to the itinerary, and any unsaved contacts will be created in your Contact Manager automatically. 

 Note: Contact profiles can currently only be created for Adult travellers. Child traveller contact profiles are not saved to the Contact Manager.
