What is Custom CSS?

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a web styling language that allows developers to customise the look and feel of a webpage, including colours, fonts, spacing, layouts, and other visual elements.

The Classic Theme Customiser includes standard settings that allow you to adjust elements such as colours, fonts, logos, and general template styling.

If you need more control over the appearance of your Digital Itinerary, use Custom CSS to apply additional styling that is not available through the standard theme settings.

Custom CSS can be used to modify elements such as:

  • Font colours, sizes, and weights
  • Buttons and hover effects
  • Background colours
  • Borders and spacing
  • Navigation elements
  • Headings and content sections
  • Enquiry forms
  • Certain map styling elements

For example, CSS can adjust button shapes, font sizes, transitions, and hover colours.

Before you get started

Note: Custom CSS is only available when using the Classic Theme.

Note: This functionality is intended for clients who have access to a web developer or someone with sufficient CSS knowledge. Wetu does not create, review, troubleshoot, or maintain custom CSS code. Any custom code added to the theme must be written and managed on your side.

Caution: Incorrect or unsupported CSS may affect how the itinerary displays on different devices and screen sizes. Test all changes carefully before using the theme on a live itinerary.
