How can I generate a printable version of my itinerary?

Generate a customisable Microsoft Word printable itinerary from Step 6: Additional Details, with options to control fonts, colours, images, links, and content.

Generate a printable itinerary

Note: Wetu's printable outputs are designed for Microsoft Word. Use Microsoft Word to view, edit, and convert to PDF for best results.

1. Open the itinerary in the Itinerary Builder and navigate to Step 6: Additional Details.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Printable Itinerary under Outputs on the left.

3. The Printable Itinerary Options window will open, with the selected style template shown in the title bar.

Note: If the Admin has not given consultants access to customise print options, the itinerary will download immediately with the default settings and this window will not appear.

Customisation options

The Printable Itinerary Options window is divided into four groups: 
CustomisationImagesHyperlinks, and Content.

Colours

Setting

Description

Primary Colour

Colour of primary headings - Day, Itinerary Name, Client Name, Price, Includes/Excludes.

Secondary Colour

Colour of secondary headings - Activities, Accommodations, Room/Suite.

Hyperlink Colour

Colour used for hyperlinks in the document.

Note: A default colour can be set in Admin. If you change the colour in the Itinerary Builder, a reset button will appear allowing you to return to the default.

Paper Size A4 or Letter (for US, Canada, and parts of South America)
Heading Font Select from Windows-compatible fonts
Body Text Font Select from Windows-compatible fonts
Date Format British (dd/mm/yy) or American (mm/dd/yy)
Text Alignment Left-aligned or Justified

Images

Setting Options
Operator Logo Placement Right, Left, Centre, or Hide
Operator Logo Size Small or Large
Destination Image Opening gallery, With destination, or Hidden
Accommodation Images Single, Double, Triple, or Hide images
Accommodation Room Images Single, Double, Triple, or Hide images
Activity Images Single, Double, Triple, Display activity description only, or Hide images
Cover Image Show or Hide the Theme cover image. Note: only available for Contemporary printable itineraries - the Classic template always includes the cover image.

Tip: If you select Large for accommodation room images, check the quality in the downloaded output first. If the supplier has uploaded low-resolution images, Small will produce a more visually appealing result.

Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks add clickable links to the printable document. Turn these off if you plan to print a physical copy.

Link: View Web Version Links to the Virtual or Digital Itinerary
Link: Further Information Links to the hyperlink added in the Supplier tab of your account
Link: View iBrochure Links to the service provider's iBrochure (if available)

Content

Setting Options
Company Information Include at start, after map, or before Travel Information - or hide
Consultant Information Include at start, after map, or before Travel Information  or hide
Map Hide Inbound/Outbound Flights (all other travel shown) or Show All Travel (including international flights)
Travel Arrangements Last Page (summary on final page) or Day by Day (shown per day after accommodation and activities)
Destination Date Ranges Include or exclude checkout dates for accommodations
Directions Display driving directions at the end of the itinerary, or hide
Country Information Hide, or Include with Details (Appendix at end of itinerary)
Prevent Page Breaks Selected: information runs over pages. Not selected: page breaks enabled.
Display Terms and Conditions Selected: T&Cs appear on last page. Not selected: excluded.
Display Room Information Selected: room information included. Not selected: excluded.
Display Basis Selected: basis information shown. Not selected: hidden.
Display Contact Details Selected: service provider contacts appear at end of itinerary. Not selected: excluded.
Display Activity Description Selected: activity images with descriptions. Not selected: images only.

Download

1. Once all options are set, click Download Itinerary.

2. The itinerary will download in Microsoft Word format.

3. Open in Microsoft Word to edit, or convert to PDF for sending to clients.

Note: Once downloaded, any edits made in Microsoft Word will not update in Wetu - the two are independent.

Note: Your customisation selections are saved automatically after downloading. They will be remembered the next time you generate a printable itinerary.

Click Set to Default to return to the team defaults set by your Admin.
