How do I add a mobile safari to my itinerary?

Add a mobile safari provider, configure day stops and overnight camps, set up routing, and see how the safari displays across your itinerary outputs.

Getting started

1. Navigate to Trip Solutions.

2. Click Itinerary Builder to open the dropdown menu.

3. Create a new itinerary or open an existing one.

4. Navigate to the Accommodation step.

Add the mobile safari

1. Click the blue Accommodation button.

2. Start typing the name of the Mobile Safari provider in the search field.

3. Select the desired provider from the dropdown list.

4. Configure the additional details for the Mobile Safari.

Room Details
Select the room or tent type for your guests.

Basis
Select the meal basis included for guests during the trip.

Drinks
Select whether drinks are included.

Day Grouping
Set how days are grouped in the Planner step and on the digital output.
Grouping by destination is recommended, as guests will be staying at each site for a prolonged stay.

Add stops and overnight camps

Recommended approach
Build the entire Mobile Safari route in the Accommodation step by adding all day stops and camps. In the Route Builder, you will only be able to update the mode of transport.

1. Click the Night/Day button to add a stop or camp to the Mobile Safari entry.

To add an overnight camp (Night Time icon 🌙):

1. Click the Night Time icon (moon symbol).

2. Select the desired camp from the list.

3. Set the number of nights and the destination for that camp.

To add a day stop (Day Time icon ☀️):

1. Click the Day Time icon (sun symbol).

2. Type the name of the stop in the Select a Stop field.

3. Select it from the list.

Note: Once a stop is added, the Itinerary Builder will indicate which day the stop occurs on.

Set up routing

1. Navigate to the Route Builder step.

2. All stops and camps added in the Accommodation step will have been automatically plotted on the map.

3. Click the dropdown between each point and select the mode of transport.
