Add a custom boat route
1. Open the itinerary and navigate to the Route Builder step.
2. From the Mode dropdown, select Boat.
3. The Fixed Route List - Boat browser will open.
Note: Boat (No Route) draws a direct line between start and end points without showing a specific sea route.
4. If the route you need is not in the predefined list, click Custom Route at the bottom left of the screen.
5. The Custom Route Builder - Boat screen will open, showing the stops added in the Accommodation step.
6. Click on the map to start placing markers along the route.
7. The line between the points will update as each new marker is placed.
8. To undo the last marker, click Remove Last Point in the top right corner.
9. To clear all markers and start over, click Clear All Points.
10. Zoom in and out to verify the route stays sea-bound and does not cross over land.
11. Click Okay to save the route.
12. The Route Builder will update to show the custom route on the map preview.
Reverse a custom boat route
If the itinerary returns to the same starting point, the custom route can be reused on the return journey.
1. For the return leg, select Boat from the Mode dropdown.
2. In the Fixed Route List browser, click Custom Route.
3. In the Custom Route Builder, click Load Existing Route at the bottom right.
4. The saved custom route will be applied to the return journey.
5. Click Okay to save.

Tip: If you use the same cruise or boat trip regularly, build it as a Multi-Day Component instead. You only need to build the route once and can reuse it across multiple itineraries.
