How do I add day routes to my itinerary?

Build a day-by-day route in the Planner step by ordering activities and selecting modes of transport, then view the route on your Virtual or Digital Itinerary output.

Add a day route

Prerequisite
Activities must already be added to the day in the Planner before a day route can be built.

1. Open the itinerary and navigate to the Planner step.

2. Click Add Day Route at the bottom right of the activity block.

3. The Day Route Builder will open.

Note: Day routes can only be added when the accommodation is grouped as Day by Day or on individual days using the
Mixed Day function. The
By Destination grouping does not support day routes.

Build the day route

1. In the Day Route Builder, the hotel(s) for the day are automatically added and shown greyed out - these cannot be changed here.

2. Click the Select an Activity dropdown.

3. Select the first activity clients will visit.

4. Repeat for each activity in the order they will be visited.

5. Select the Mode of Transport between each stop from the dropdown.

Add stops that are not activities

To add a passing point - such as a harbour or a mountain pass - that is not listed as a day activity:

1. Click the blue + icon on the left-hand side in the Day Route Builder.

2. Search for and select the point from the available options in Wetu.

How day routes display on outputs

1. To preview the route click Preview.

Digital Itinerary Click Map for the full trip overview, or Day by Day to see each day's individual routing

Note: On Virtual Lite and Virtual Enterprise packages, the itinerary will open directly in map view - there is no tabbed menu to navigate through.
