How do I add general information to my profile?

Complete your profile's general information to improve visibility and help travel agents find you. This includes descriptions, tags, fast facts, facilities, and contact details.

Before you start

Note: Some features in this guide are only available for Professional profiles.

Accessing profile editing

1. Click "Profiles" to open your Profile Library
2. Click the three dots ()
3. Select "Edit Profile"

Details

Profile name and descriptions

Profile Name
- Your official property or business name
- Appears in search results and itineraries

Description (for trade partners)
- Displays in Wetu itineraries and outputs
- Keep concise and focused on key selling points
- 2-3 paragraphs recommended

Extended Description (for iBrochure only)
- Appears only on your iBrochure
- Allows more detail about your product
- Use this space to expand on features, history, experiences

Tip: Write the first description for agents (functional, clear). Write the extended description for end clients (engaging, detailed).

Alias (internal reference)

Add an alias to help you distinguish profiles with the same name and location.

Example: If you have two "Safari Lodge" properties in different regions, use aliases like "Safari Lodge - Kruger" and "Safari Lodge - Okavango"

Only visible to you - not shown to travel agents or clients.

Tags

Add specific tags to increase visibility in searches.

Good tags:
- Style: "luxury," "boutique," "eco-friendly," "family-friendly"
- Features: "beachfront," "safari," "spa," "all-inclusive"
- Experiences: "wine tasting," "game drives," "scuba diving"

More specific tags = more search matches. Add 5-10 relevant tags.

Once finished, click "Save".

- Include country code

- Reservations or general inquiry email
- Ensure this mailbox is monitored regularly

Booking Form Link (if not using a booking system)
- Direct link to your online booking form

- Your official website URL

3. Add name, phone, and email for each
4. Click "Save"

3. Paste the full URL for each platform
