Build a custom route
1. Open the itinerary and navigate to the Route Builder step.

2. On the day where the route is missing, select Self Drive (No Route) from the mode dropdown.

3. A straight default line will appear on the map between the two accommodations.
4. Click the vehicle icon on that line.

5. The Custom Route Builder will open.
6. Click on the map to start placing markers along the route.
7. Click Remove Last Point to undo the last marker placed.
8. Click Clear All Points to start over.

Tip: Zoom in to place markers more precisely. Add as many points as needed to match the actual road as closely as possible.
9. Click Okay to save the route.
10. The Route Builder map will update to display the custom route.

Note: To edit the route at any time, click the vehicle icon again to reopen the Custom Route Builder.
Reverse a custom route
If the itinerary returns to the same starting point, the custom route will be saved and can be reused on the return journey.
1. For the return leg, select Self Drive (No Route) from the mode dropdown.
2. A straight default line will appear between the two points.
3. Click the vehicle icon on that line.

4. The Custom Route Builder will open.
5. Click Load Existing Route to apply the saved custom route to the return journey.

6. Click Okay to save.
7. Both routes will be visible on the map - one for the outward journey and one for the return.

Note: Either route can still be edited by clicking its vehicle icon and making changes in the Custom Route Builder.
