How do I create a branded Identity in Wetu?

An Identity lets you customize the branding on your itineraries, perfect for white-labeling trips for partners, creating unbranded proposals, or managing multiple brands under one Wetu account.

Caution: Admin rights needed

Note: Virtual Lite Accounts
Users on a Virtual Lite account will not have access to the Identities tab in the Account Setup section.
Even if a user has Admin rights, the Identities tab will not be visible in Virtual Lite accounts.
Because of this, co-branding features are not available on Virtual Lite accounts.

What is an Identity?

An Identity is an alternate branding profile you can apply to individual itineraries. When you apply an Identity, it replaces your company details with the Identity's information, including logo, contact details, and company description.

Common uses:
- Partner white-labeling: Send itineraries branded with your partner's logo and details
- Multiple brands: Manage different travel brands from one Wetu account
- Unbranded proposals: Remove all branding for certain clients or situations
- Co-branding: Show both your logo and a partner's logo together

Co-branding option

Co-branding lets you show both your company's logo and the Identity's logo on the same itinerary, giving clients the security of seeing your brand alongside your partner's.

Enabling co-branding

1. In your Identity's details, locate the "Co-branding" checkbox
2. Tick the box to activate co-branding for this Identity
3. Click "Save"

Creating unbranded itineraries

Sometimes you need to send an itinerary with no branding at all, no logos, no company names, no contact details.

Option 1: Create an unbranded Identity

1. Create a new Identity (follow steps above)
2. Leave the logo field empty
3. Enter minimal or generic company information
4. Save the Identity
5. Apply this Identity to itineraries when you need unbranded proposals

Option 2: Use the unbranded link option

For one-off unbranded itineraries without creating a full Identity:

1. Complete your itinerary in the Itinerary Builder
2. In the final step, locate the itinerary link
3. Click the cog icon next to the link
4. A pop-up will appear with option

5. Select "Unbranded Itinerary"
6. Copy the new unbranded link
7. Share this link with your client

Note: The itinerary will display with no company branding, logos, or contact information.

Managing multiple Identities

You can create as many Identities as you need for different partners, brands, or purposes.

Best practices:
- Use clear names: "Luxury Escapes White Label" instead of "Identity 1"
- Organize by purpose: Group partner Identities, brand Identities, and unbranded versions
- Keep details current: Review and update Identity contact information regularly
- Test before sharing: Always preview an itinerary with an Identity applied before sending to clients

Troubleshooting

My logo looks stretched or distorted
Use the recommended 3:1 aspect ratio (3 times as wide as it is high). If your logo is square or tall, add white space around it to create the proper dimensions before uploading.

The Identity isn't appearing in my itinerary
Make sure you've selected the Identity in the Itinerary Builder's final step. Check that the Identity was saved successfully in the Identities tab.

Co-branding isn't showing both logos
Verify that the Co-branding checkbox is ticked in the Identity's settings. Both your company logo and the Identity's logo must be uploaded.

Can I have different Terms & Conditions per Identity?
No, Terms & Conditions are set at the company level and apply to all Identities. However, you can add Identity-specific notes in the company description field.
