# How do I create a cover document for my itinerary?

## Upload a cover document to your itinerary in Step 6: Additional Details so it is available as a printable attachment on your digital outputs.

**Important**  
Cover Document is available on all Operator packages, but it only affects the  
**Digital Itinerary**.   
On the Virtual Itinerary, Mobile App, and Mobile Responsive Itinerary, the uploaded document is treated the same as other documentation.

### **Add a cover document**

1\. Open the relevant itinerary in the Itinerary Builder.

2\. Navigate to **Step 6: Additional Details**.

3\. Click **Cover Documents** (next to Add Documents).

4\. Click the orange **+** button.

5\. A file browser pop-up will appear.

6\. Navigate to the document you want to upload.

7\. Click the document, then click **Open**.

8\. The document will upload to the itinerary.

**Tip:** The document you upload should ideally be the Printable version of the itinerary.

9\. Once uploaded, the document will appear in the **Cover Document** section.

10\. To remove a document, click the **trash can icon**.

### **Where the cover document displays**

The cover document displays as a print button on the Digital Itinerary. The exact appearance of the print button varies depending on the theme applied.

| --- | --- |
| **Classic** | Print button on the Digital Itinerary |
| **Discovery** | Print button on the Digital Itinerary |
| **Virtual** | Treated as standard documentation - no cover document behaviour |
| **TravelKey** | Available as an attachment in the app |
