Create a Multi-Day Component
1. In the navigation panel, go to Trip Solutions › Multi-Day Components.
2. Click Create New in the top right corner to start a new component, or select an existing one to edit it.
Step 1: Itinerary Details
1. Enter a name for the component.
2. Select the language the component should appear in.
3. Click Next Step to continue.
Tip: Use Tags and Labels to categorise the component - this makes it easier to search for and filter when adding it to itineraries later.
Step 2: Accommodation
1. Start typing the accommodation name - a dropdown will appear with matching options.
2. Select the correct property and update the stay details.
3. Repeat for each accommodation in the component.
Note: Accommodation must exist in the Wetu system to appear in the dropdown. If you cannot find a property after trying all variations of the name, contact the Wetu Content team at contentservices@wetu.com to have it loaded.
Step 3: Route Builder
1. The accommodation entries from Step 2 will already be populated in the Route Builder.
2. Add the start point, end point, and any stops along the route.
3. Set the correct mode of transport for each leg and add relevant travel details.
Step 4: Planner
1. Add activities for each day of the component.
2. Add Day Notes and Expert Tips that will be useful to consultants when this component is added to an itinerary.
Note: All activities, notes, and tips added here will automatically populate the itinerary when the component is inserted. Build it thoroughly once and it saves time on every itinerary it is used in.
Finish and save
1. Click Finish at the bottom right of the Planner step.
2. Choose from the available options: Continue Editing, Save & Exit, or Preview the component.
