How do I create a publishable day tour?
Build a Day Tour using the Day Tour Builder - add tour details, activities, routing, images, and documents - then publish it so operators and agents can add it to their itineraries.
Availability: The Day Tour Builder is available on Digital Enterprise and Day Tour packages. Availability may vary depending on your account.

Getting Started
1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Trip Solutions › Day Tours in the navigation panel.

2. Click Create New to start a new tour, or select an existing tour to edit it.

Step 1: Itinerary Details
Only the Itinerary Name is mandatory. All other fields are optional - any field left blank will not appear on the output.

| Itinerary Name | Required. The name of the day tour. |
| Reference Number | Displays on the itinerary and allows consultants to search by reference when adding day tours to itineraries. |
| Theme | Select the theme to apply to the day tour. |
| Branding | Select a prebuilt Identity to customise the contact information and logo - useful when reselling to agents. |
| Unique Booking URL | Directs clients to this website when they select the Book Now option on the itinerary. |
| Language | Select the language of the tour. |
| Group Size | Add minimum and maximum guest numbers. |

| Price | Enter pricing for the tour. |
| Price Includes | List what is included in the price. |
| Price Excludes | List what is excluded from the price. |
| Additional Details | Add any extra information for clients - such as packing suggestions or preparation notes. |

| Special Interests | Add tags for specific activities or interests relevant to the tour. |
| Departure / Return Times | Set departure and return times. Leave blank for flexible/custom tours and enter duration instead. |
| Departure / Return Points | Specify start and end locations, or note if hotel pickup is offered. |
| Tour Languages | List all languages in which the tour is offered. |

Step 2: Planner
1. Type an activity name and select it from the dropdown, or type and click + SAVE AS FREE TEXT for unlisted activities.
2. Add Meet & Greet details by clicking Meet & Greet and completing the pop-up.
3. Set the timeslot (Morning, Afternoon, etc.) or click the clock for an exact time.
4. Set the inclusion type: Planned, Recommended, Optional, or Information.
3. Use the green arrow to drag services into the correct order.
4. To delete a service, tick the checkbox next to it and click Delete Item at the bottom.
Step 3: Route Builder
1. Navigate to the Route Builder step - activities and places of interest from the Planner are added to the routing list automatically.
2. Select services from the list in the correct travel order.
3. Click the Mode dropdown to set the mode of transport for each leg.
4. Click the icon next to the mode to add booking or travel details for that leg.

Note: For self-drive legs, select the vehicle icon on the map to edit the driving directions. See the article on editing driving routes for more information.
Step 4: Additional Details

| Summary | A short description of the tour - displays above the images on the itinerary output. |
| Full Description | A detailed description of the tour - displays below the images. |
| Add Images | Upload images from your computer. Landscape images are recommended. |
| Add Documents | Attach documents such as booking forms or indemnity forms. Note: attached documents will not appear on the printable version. |

Outputs
| Output | Description |

| Printable Day Tour | Generates a Word document of the tour. Confirm options in the pop-up and click Print Itinerary to download. |
| Client Link | The digital tour link. Click Copy and paste into an email to send to your client. |
| Preview Day Tour | Click the eye icon to preview without triggering a viewing notification. |
| Viewing Notification | Set how often you receive notifications when the tour is viewed. |

Publish and unpublish
Publish
1. In the Additional Details step, click the orange Publish Tour button.
2. Confirm the pop-up to publish.
3. Once published, operators and agents can search for and add your tour to their itineraries.


Important: Avoid making changes to a published tour - this can cause issues for operators and agents who have already added it to their itineraries. If changes are needed, unpublish the tour first and create a new version.
Unpublish
1. In the Additional Details step, click Unpublish Tour.
2. Confirm the pop-up.
3. The tour can be republished at any time.
