What is embedding?

Embedding is the process of placing content from one platform directly onto a website or blog. When you embed a Wetu itinerary into your website, any updates you make to the itinerary in Wetu will automatically appear on your website as well.

How to embed an itinerary

There are several approaches to displaying Wetu itineraries on your website. The best option will depend on your website's look and feel and the preferences of your web developer.

  • Lightbox embed - Display the itinerary in a lightbox overlay on your website. Many lightbox plugins are available; choose one that suits your website's style.

  • Hyperlinked image or text - Place an image or text on your website with a hyperlink to the itinerary URL. When clicked, the itinerary opens in a new tab.

  • Catalogue Manager - Display a curated collection of itineraries using Wetu's Catalogue Manager, grouped by destination, traveller type, or style.

Note: If you do not have IT or web development experience, it is best to work with a web developer to set this up. They will be able to advise on the option that best suits your website.
