What is a PNR?
A Passenger Name Record (PNR) is created when a travel agent books a flight through a GDS system such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport. It contains information about the traveller and their travel plans.
A PNR appears as a series of numbers and letters and can include: passenger names, airline, flight number, cabin or fare class, departure and arrival airports, and departure and arrival dates and times.

Before you start
The PNR import function requires the following to be in place before it will work:
- Personal Itinerary
PNR import is only available on Personal Itineraries. - Travel dates
The itinerary must have dates that match the PNR. The function will not work without correct dates. - Accommodation step completed
All accommodations and overnight travel arrangements must be entered, with the correct number of nights, before using the GDS Import function.

Note: All flight information shown in the itinerary is based on details at the time of import. If flight details change after import, you will need to update the affected flights manually - Wetu does not automatically update flight information changes.
Import a PNR
1. Once the Accommodation step is complete, navigate to the Route Builder step.
2. Click the green GDS Import button in the top left corner.

3. The Import Flights screen will open.
4. Paste the PNR details copied from your GDS system into the field.

5. The system will read the PNR and display all identified flights for you to select.
6. If any dates do not match the itinerary dates, a red Caution icon will appear with a description of what needs to be corrected in the Accommodation step.

Common causes of date mismatches
- Itinerary dates do not match the PNR dates
- Overnight flights have not been added correctly
- Missing accommodation components
- Number of nights for an accommodation does not align correctly
Correct the accommodation step as needed, then reload the PNR via the GDS Import button.
7. By default, all PNR flights will be ticked. Untick any flights you do not want to import.
8. Click the green Import Flights button at the bottom of the screen.

9. The Route Builder will automatically update each leg with a Scheduled Flight entry, add a Self-Drive route between the accommodation and the airport where needed, and populate the flight booking details from the PNR.

10. Open the Booking Details screen for each flight to confirm the imported information.
