Getting started
Sample Itineraries only
Scheduled Departures are only available in Sample Itineraries. You will need to create a new Sample Itinerary or open an existing one.
1. Navigate to Trip Solutions.
2. Click Itinerary Builder to open the dropdown menu.
3. Select Sample Itineraries.
4. Create a new Sample Itinerary or open an existing one.
Add scheduled departures
1. Navigate to the Accommodation step of the Itinerary Builder.
2. Click Manage Scheduled Departures in the top right corner.
3. The Manage Scheduled Departures screen will open.
4. Complete the departure fields.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Start Date | Enter the trip start date - type it directly or select from the calendar. |
| End Date | Calculated automatically based on the number of nights set in the Accommodation step. If no accommodation has been added, it defaults to one day from the start date. |
| Currency | Select the currency for this trip. This applies to all Scheduled Departures - you cannot use different currencies within the same trip. |
| From / Is | Select whether the price starts from (additional costs may apply) or is (a fixed price). This setting applies to all departures. |
| Price | Enter the price for this departure. This can vary per departure. Do not include spaces in the amount - the system will not save if spaces are present. |
| Price Basis | Select what the price is based on. |
| Add Departure | Click to add the departure to the itinerary. |
| Delete | Click the trash icon to delete a departure and reconfigure it. Departures cannot be edited - they must be deleted and re-entered. |
Note: Accommodation can be added after Scheduled Departures have been configured. Wetu will automatically recalculate and update the end dates.
Trip details
The Trip Details section displays the Price, Includes, Excludes, and Terms & Conditions pulled through from the Itinerary Details step. If these have not been filled in yet, they can be completed here.
