How do I request new suppliers, destinations or content to be added to Wetu?
If you can't find a supplier or destination in Wetu, you can request for it to be added. The more detail you provide, the faster it can be loaded.

Requesting new supplier content
Before submitting a request, search the Wetu database using different spellings. Use the main part of the supplier name rather than the full name - for example, search Khwai rather than Belmond Khwai River Lodge.
Email your request to contentservices@wetu.com with the following details:
- Name of the supplier (accommodation, site, attraction, activity, or restaurant)
- Address and destination
- Official website link
- GPS coordinates (where possible)

You can submit content requests directly via our online form - this is often the fastest way to get content loaded into the system.
Submit requests using the following form:
Supplier content types that can be requested
- Stays
- Attractions and Landmarks
- Things to do
- Food and Beverage
- Infrastructure
Additional requirements for mobile accommodation
- Cruises and train journeys - provide all stops during the trip.
- Mobile safaris and migration camps - provide each campsite so overnight stays and day stops can be indicated.
Note: If the content or hi-res images are difficult to find and you have the correct authorisation, please include them with your request.
Note: You may provide a third-party website or factsheet for descriptions. Images and contact information from third-party sources cannot be used.
Note: The Content Team does not add room types. These can be created and managed by clients within the Supplier tab in Accounts.
Private homes are not added to Wetu. You are able to add these in your own account using the private profiles functionality.
Requesting new destinations
When requesting a new destination, include:
- At least one accommodation located in that destination.
- If no accommodation exists, a description of how you plan to use the destination.
- For mobile accommodation destinations (cruises or rail) - the supplier's website and/or an itinerary example.
Destinations that cannot be loaded
- Destinations for sights, attractions, and activities - destinations are linked to accommodations only.
- Destinations custom to a specific operator and not used by the wider industry - a custom destination must be created instead.
- Destinations where the accommodation is located too far from the requested destination to be linked.
Caution: For destination imagery, we use two paid photo libraries to source high-resolution images. For all other profile types, images are sourced from the official website. If no official website is available, or if the images are too small, we do not include images in the profile. However, you can upload your own images here
