# What are Day Components and how do I add them?

## Day Components are pre-built sets of activities and content that can be inserted into a day in the Planner step - saving time and enriching your itinerary with destination information.

### **Navigating to your Itinerary Builder**

### **Open the Component browser**

1\. Open the itinerary and navigate to the **Planner** step.

2\. Click the orange **Add Component** button in the top right corner.

### **Search for a component**

Use any of the following search options to find the component you need:

| Search option | How to use it |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Type the component name to search directly. |
| **Language** | Filter by language to find all components created in a specific language. |
| **Consultant** | Select yourself or another consultant in your company to filter by who created the component. |

### **Insert a component**

1\. Select the component from the results to highlight it.

2\. Click **Add Component**.

3\. All services and content from the component will be added to the itinerary.

**Tip:** Use Day Components to include recommended activities for a destination when you are not booking specific activities for clients. It saves time and ensures clients receive detailed information about what is available in the area.
