Where can I view or update my Wetu user profile?

Your Wetu user profile contains your personal information and account settings. You can view and update it anytime from within the platform.

Accessing your user profile

1. Log in to your Wetu account
2. Click on your profile icon in the top-left corner
3. Select Personal Details from the dropdown menu

Accessing all users 

Caution: Account Manager 

To view a list of all users in your account:

1. On the Navigation Panel, click Account Setup
2. Select Account
3. The Users tab opens automatically, showing all users

Why use this? Account managers need this view to see the full team roster and manage all consultants.

What you can update

Personal information
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo

Updating your profile information

To change your name, email, or phone number:
1. Navigate to your profile page (see above)
2. Update the fields you want to change
3. Click Save

Note: You'll see a confirmation message when your changes are saved.

Update your profile photo

1. Go to your profile page
2. Click Upload or Change
3. Choose a new photo from your computer
4. Click Save

Tip: Use a square image (at least 200x200 pixels) for best results.

Change your password

1. Go to your profile page
2. Click on Update Password in the top left corner.
3. Type in your new password.
4. Confirm your password by typing it out again.
5. Click Update

Caution: Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of letters and numbers.

To update consultant information:

Add details that appear on your itineraries to build client connections.

1. Go to your profile page
2. Scroll to the Description section
3. Fill in:
   - Description - Your interests, passions, and what makes you unique
   - Countries Visited - Destinations you've personally experienced
   - Favourite Destinations - Your top picks to share with clients
4. Click Save

Note: Empty fields don't appear on itineraries. Only completed sections display to clients.

To enable itinerary viewed notifications:

Receive email alerts when clients open their itineraries.

1. Go to your profile page
2. Find Send Itinerary Viewed Notification
3. Click on the checkbox to turn this ON or OFF
4. Click Save

Where your details appear on itineraries

Digital Itineraries:
- Banner/Header - Your name, phone, email, Skype
- About Us Tab - Description, Countries Visited, Favourite Destinations

- Contemporary Printable - All consultant details included
- Classic Printable & Virtual - Only basic contact info (not bio/travel details)

Manage user permissions in Wetu

User Permissions control what each consultant can access and do within your Wetu account. 

Only users with Administrator rights can grant or remove permissions.

Available permissions

Permission What it does
Administrator Grants administrative rights within the account, including:
  • Managing users and permissions
  • Customising itinerary themes
  • Managing supplier, destination, and country content
  • Managing account settings
  • Accessing additional administrative functions throughout the platform
Send Itinerary Viewed Notifications Enables email notifications when a traveller views an itinerary the user has created or is associated with. Helps consultants track client engagement.

Wetu Where can I view or update my Wetu user profile

 Important: Only an existing Administrator can grant Administrator rights to another user. 

Remove administrator access

1. Open the user's profile.

2. Untick the Administrator checkbox.

3. Click Save.

The user will revert to standard permissions.

 Note: Ensure at least one Administrator remains active on the account before removing Administrator rights from a user.

Managing users

Only Wetu Support can add or delete users.

To add a user: Email support@wetu.com with name, surname, and email.

To delete a user: Contact support. We recommend transferring their itineraries to another consultant first.


Viewing your notifications

See all your unread and past notifications in one place. 

1. Go to your profile page
2. Click the Notifications tab
3. View your notifications list

Filtering your notifications

Use the dropdown filters to find specific notifications:

1. Sort by date:
     Click the first dropdown
   - Choose Newest First or Oldest First

2. Filter by type:
     Click the second dropdown
     Choose from:
     - All types - Shows everything
     - Information - General updates and announcements
     - Flagged - Important notifications you've marked
     - Completed - Actions you've already finished

The list updates automatically when you change filters.
