How can I change the currency format in my Excel exports?

When working with Wetu pricing spreadsheets in Excel, you can format cells to display any currency symbol and control decimal places and negative number display.

 Note: Currency formatting is an Excel feature - these steps are not Wetu-specific and may look slightly different depending on your version of Excel or operating system. 

Change currency formatting in Excel

1. Select the cells you want to format. Click and drag to select a range, or click the first cell and hold Shift while clicking the last cell.

2. Right-click the selected cells and chooseFormat Cells. Alternatively, press Ctrl+1(Windows) or Cmd+1(Mac) to open the dialog box.

3. In the Format Cells dialog, click the Number tab if it is not already selected.

4. Under Category on the left, select Currency.

5. Open the Symbol dropdown and select your preferred currency symbol. Excel defaults to your system locale, but you can change it here.

6. Adjust additional formatting options as needed:

7. Set the number of Decimal places using the dropdown. Most currencies display two decimal places, but adjust as needed.

8. Click OK to apply the formatting.
