How do I set up a custom DNS for my Wetu links?
Replace the default wetu.com domain on your itinerary, iBrochure, and catalogue links with your own branded subdomain.

Set up your custom DNS
To change your DNS you will need to contact your domain host to set up a unique subdomain. Follow the three steps below.
1. Create distinct subdomains
You can create a separate subdomain for each Wetu tool, or a single common subdomain for all of them.
Examples: itinerary.yourcompany.com and ibrochure.yourcompany.com, or a single digital.yourcompany.com for all tools.
2. Enable DNS and add a CNAME record
In your domain host's DNS settings, add a CNAME record for each subdomain pointing to:
custom.wetu.com
This is the critical step that connects your subdomain to Wetu.
3. Notify Wetu
Contact the Wetu support team with the subdomains you have chosen and how you want them configured. Wetu will set up your operator account accordingly.
Note: After notifying Wetu, the custom DNS can take up to 72 hours to reflect correctly and be enabled on your outputs.
Custom domains for agents
You can also set up a custom domain for your agents and link it to their Identity. When their branding is applied to an itinerary, the custom domain will apply accordingly. Follow the same three-step process above.
Note: Identities are limited to one custom DNS - a single subdomain applies to all tools (Itineraries, iBrochures, and Catalogues). A separate subdomain per tool is not supported for Identities.
Note: If you have activated a custom DNS on your account but have not set up a separate custom domain for your agents, all rebranded itineraries will also use your account's custom domain.
